BlocPower is a Brooklyn-based technology firm that develops portfolios of energy efficiency retrofits and renewable energy installations in sub-75,000 square foot small commercial and residential properties in financially underserved communities. These Class B and C buildings over consume fossil-fuel-based energy per square foot due to a lack of access to 1) information about energy efficiency and clean energy;2) engineering, procurement, and construction services for energy efficiency and clean energy technologies;and 3) financing for the energy efficiency and clean energy technologies that will dramatically lower energy consumption.
