Dara Publishing is a self-publishing company which was founded on August 12th 2016 by Certified Life Coach and Author Reea Rodney. Our mission is to improve the lives of families one book, one child, one neighborhood at a time. We focus on real life issues that children experience as they develop from one stage to another and we incorporate these lessons in a fun, creative and interactive way through our storybooks, activities and blog posts. Through these lessons, parents, caregivers and children can have the tools needed to help them transition through the adjustment process. Additionally, our Purpose to establish a responsible, caring, understanding and supportive environment that every child desires, so they can achieve their maximum potential through our life coaching and mentoring programs we offer to parents and children. Our hope is to ultimately provide inspiration and empowerment to children by directing their hopes, ambitions and dreams towards achieving their goals. Our Core Values are….. 1. You are strong: Coming face to face with your fears can show you how strong you really are. A strong, positive self-image is the best possible preparation for success. As a Life Coach for children, I will help with the growth of young children as we work together nourishing their Self-Esteem, Self-Talk, Self-Love, Self-Confidence, and Self-Celebration skills. These skills would positively affect and filter into every developmental stage of a child’s life by improving the way they view themselves, others and the world. My desire is to be that voice and support for them, which was absent in my life as a child. I can connect with children and as a team we can make significant positive changes in the necessary areas as I can personally relate to most, if not all, struggles they may be experiencing.
