I AM CARIBBEING is a cultural venture dedicated to illuminating the Caribbean experience and communities in the Tri-State area and around the world. We celebrate and amplify Caribbean culture and lifestyle, supporting local Black/Caribbean/LatinX owned businesses while building community, documenting as well as creating culture in Little Caribbean.
Spearheaded in 2017, Little Caribbean is home to the largest and most diverse Caribbean-American-LatinX community outside of the West Indies, making up 20% of New York City. Located on the corridors of Flatbush, Church, Nostrand, and Utica Avenues, Little Caribbean is home to people, restaurants, and small businesses that come together to share social and cultural histories and futures.
