KoolKidz Television & Publishing, LLC. d/b/a Kool Media was established in 2005, KoolKidz has garnered over 300 Film Festival selections and awards throughout North America, South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. Our childrens shorts have been featured on the Education Channel in Tampa, Florida as well as the East Africa Televisions Kids Time Program. Our DVDs books are available in libraries throughout the United States and Canada. Rich McKeown, the president and founder brings 15 years of experience working for publishing and entertainment giants Prentice Hall/Simon & Schuster; Sony Video; Boosey & Hawkes; Bertelsmann Music Group & HBO. Rich was named a 2018 Mandela Washington Reciprocal Awardee and conducted an 8 day micro-budget film workshop in Equatorial Guinea in April of this year. He is also the director of Hip Hop Film Fest Africa and launched Hip Hop Film Fest Nairobi in Kenya in July of 2018 and Hip Hop Film Fest Cote Ivoire in May of 2019. KoolKidz has also produced American Beatboxer which was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum and archives and can currently be seen on the Urban Movie Channel. KoolKidz services include promotional videos, short and long form documentary story telling, and film screenings from the ages from elementary through college. we have screened in elementary schools to Harvard. Film screenings can be arranged through strategic partners in the NYC area and in schools. Micro-budget film workshops are available for of all ages.
