Youth Design Center is a non-profit, youth-led creative agency and innovation hub based in Brooklyn. We offer training and services in design (branding/identity systems, motion graphics, full-service web design, murals/spatial design, apparel and product design); photography and videography (event documentation, social assets, product, promos, spots, social media, scripting, short documentary, music search, sound, finishing).
Youth Design Center’s mission is to increase racial and ethnic diversity in design and technology professions and disrupt cyclical poverty and youth unemployment. YDC works to reduce the number of disconnected youth ages 14-24 by lowering their barriers to entry to the STEAM professions and increasing their relevant experience in the innovation economy. Our programs expose youth to career pathways in STEAM, offer instruction that increases their soft and hard skills for the workplace, and connect them with degree-granting programs and STEAM jobs.
